A big thank you to Kattie for sharing with Service Squad, we're really happy to hear from you and Kenji!
Introduction from Service Squad: If you have a service story to share with our readers (and your service story is longer than 300 characters), you can send an email to servicesquad@areyoubeingserved.com.sg. Story from Kattie: But I guess combined with the humid weather, his condition turned serious. I immediately called for a cab but it was taking forever to arrive. As we waited for the cab, his tongue was turning purple, he was foaming at the mouth and his heartbeat getting faint, as he could not inhale enough oxygen. I was feeling nervous and desperately needed help. I ran back to the cafe to ask for help and the staff directed me to Josiah who was in the boarding place for pets. When he saw Kenji, he immediately carried my dog and sprayed Kenji with cold water, thinking it was heatstroke. Carrying my wet dog in his arms, he asked me where my car is. I told him I don’t drive and was waiting for the cab to arrive. Worried for Kenji’s life as every second and minute that ticked by is precious, Josiah asked us to hop onto his car and rushed us all the way from Turf City to Mount Pleasant Hospital at Stevens Road. My dog’s heartbeat was getting very faint and he was foaming a lot. Throughout the journey, Josiah kept talking to my dog to hang on and that we were seeking help very soon. With his help, we rushed to the hospital emergency ward in ten minutes. I still have my dog with me all thanks to Josiah. A stranger I didn’t know, a stranger I met for the first time, who is now my dog’s benefactor. I found out later that he is one of the partner at K9. Now this is what I called great service. |
